About the Founder

Myron Burke is a highly accomplished retail executive with over 25 years of leading edge retail experience working across the core business segments at Walmart, Inc. 

Myron began his retail career as a part time associate at Sam’s Club while studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Kentucky. He went on the further his education with additional degrees in International Business Management and Philosophy at Georgetown College.

His experience includes tenure in Store Operations, Finance / Tax, Global Supply Chain, Store Innovation, Walmart International, and  Walmart Emerging Technology, where he led strategic emerging technology programs as a Principal at Store No. 8, Walmart’s internal tech incubator.

In mid 2019, Myron exited his corporate role and founded Divergent Technology Advisors, a retail technology advisory firm helping tier 1 & 2 retailers, technology providers, and start ups with tech strategy, go to market planning, international market expansion, and business prioritization to support scaling up...

A proud student of business throughout his career, Myron’s natural curiosity for simplicity and efficiency has helped him to continually challenge the business “status quo” by merging business process with technology. In addition to tackling challenges in big retail, Myron also strives to support and mentor the next generation of leaders by being a contributing guest speaker and advisor at Wharton Business School, UCLA Anderson Business School, the University of Arkansas, and Auburn University.

Myron, along with his wife Kim, and two sons, Xander and Jagger currently reside in Rogers, Arkansas.
